100 Women Who Care Albany selected the second recipient of their collective giving at the August quarterly meeting. On August 28th 100WWC members presented checks totally $10,400 to The Friendship Circle, a non-profit organization that provides programs and support to the families of individuals with special needs. It was wonderful to meet some of the families who will benefit from our donation!

Chaya Rubin, director of The Friendship Circle and member of 100 Women Who Care Albany accepted the checks on behalf of the organization. We look forward to hearing Chaya speak at our November meeting on how our funds will be used.
