On September 23, 2020, we delivered checks totally $17,200 to our latest recipient, Things of My Very Own. This worthy organization provides crises intervention services to children impacted by extensive abuse and/or neglect who are at risk of a Child Protection Services intervention. They focus on making sure the children have what they need to feel supported and loved in their new home. They will be using the 100 Women Who Care funds to ensure that every child has a clean mattress to sleep on in their new homes. Since the above picture was taken, additional checks have arrived to a total of $18,200.

With this latest donation, 100 Women Who Care Albany has collectively donated over 1/4 of a million dollars to local charities. We are so thrilled to have reached this milestone! Congratulations to all of our members for making 100 Women Who Care Albany a success!
