The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is an international organization which fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession. The Hudson-Mohawk AFP Chapter is dedicated to mentoring and nurturing the spirit of philanthropy in both professional fundraisers as well as budding ones.
Each year, the chapter hosts National Philanthropy Day, a celebration of both the fundraising profession and those who are engaged with their community on a variety of levels. During these meetings, the AFP chapter presents the annual National Philanthropy Day Awards. The awards recognize individuals, groups, and organizations that make impactful contributions to their communities, and pave the way for future philanthropic endeavors.

100 Women Who Care was honored to be recognized at the November 10, 2021 meeting. We received the Outstanding Fundraising Group award. This award recognizes a group of individuals demonstrating the true spirit of philanthropy through time, treasure, and talent.
Thank you to the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Hudson-Mohawk Chapter, for recognizing the powerful way that the members of 100 Women Who Care Albany meet quarterly to support Capital District non-profits.
